The Better Hearth is a family run business, trading from the same premises in Islington, North London since 1976.
During this time we have worked with a huge variety of clients including actors, politicians, film producers, architects, interior designers, property developers, builders and the general public. Much of our work is generated through word of mouth and recommendations.

We are a family run business with over 40 years‘ experience. Offering friendly, expert advice we have everything you need to get your home looking the way you want it.
To begin, you’re invited to our showroom to get a look and feel of what you can have installed in your home. No need to guess on size or feel when its in front of you. Alternatively we can send us an email or call us and we can arrange everything. We are 3 minutes walk from Highbury Islington station and 5 minutes from Holloway Road station.
There is no need to make an appointment, just come and pop in whenever you like.
We have used the same HETAS and Gas Safe accredited installers for many years. Our installers will come out to install your new fireplace and leave you with a happy home.
